ok when u use the d.o.s formula, and the numbers are switched around is the answer still the same?
ReplyDeleteex.
64-x^2
is this the same as
x^2-64
????????????
~kendall
No...you have to answer in the order that they give you the numbers...for the one that says 64-x^2, it would be (8+x)(8-x), but if it says x^2-64, it would be (x+8)(x-8)....it's almost the same thing, but you have to watch your signs if you switch the order...hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
